Pre & Post Care Instructions

Pre-Tan Instructions

  1. Exfoliate 1–2 days before your service appointment
  2. Shave / Wax 24 hrs before your service appointment - Shaving too close to your appointment time can possibly distort your tan - Skip shaving if you don't have the buffer time.
  3. Don’t wear lotion, oil, deodorant, perfume, or makeup for your service
  4. Arrive with clean, dry skin & wear dark, loose clothes + open shoes for after your appointment

Post-Tan Instructions

  1. Avoid touching your skin until your first rinse - This will prevent unwanted tan on the palms of your hands
  2. Avoid showering, sweating, water for 8 –12 hrs (Max 6 hrs for Rapid Solution) - Always follow artist guidelines for rinsing
  3. Skip lotion, deodorant, perfume until after first rinse. First rinse = lukewarm water only (no soap)
  4. Pat dry out of the shower, don’t rub
  5. Moisturize daily to extend tan
  6. Wear sunscreen when getting exposed to the sun
  7. Your spray tan will last anywhere from 5 - 10 days
  8. The longevity of your tan depends on avoiding the following: Hot tubs, Saunas, Pools, Exfoliating, Soaps containing high oil content (Dove)
  9. We have a selection of retail products to help with the longevity of your tan

Tips & Recommendations


Brides & Weddings

We recommend a trial spray tan well in advance of your wedding day. A trial allows us to determine the perfect shade, undertone, and solution for your skin so there are no surprises on your big day. This gives you peace of mind and ensures a natural, radiant glow that complements your dress, makeup, and overall look. That said, if you are an avid spray tan client and already know the shade and depth you love, you may feel completely comfortable skipping a trial. Many experienced tanners confidently proceed without one, especially if they’ve had consistent results and are familiar with proper prep and aftercare.


Photo Shoots & Special Events

For photo shoots and important events, we recommend booking your spray tan 2 days (48 hours) prior. This timing allows your tan to fully develop, settle into the skin, and reach its optimal color, resulting in the most natural and camera-ready finish.


Proper Prep Is Essential

The quality of your tan depends heavily on preparation.

  1. Exfoliate thoroughly before your appointment to remove dead skin cells
  2. Moisturize regularly leading up to your spray using spray tan–approved products
  3. Avoid lotions, oils, perfumes, or deodorant on the day of your appointment

We carry professional, spray tan–safe prep and maintenance products in our studio, as well as convenient travel kits for our Las Vegas visitors so you can maintain your glow while on the go.


Rinse Times & Aftercare Matter

Following proper rinse times and post-tan care instructions is just as important as the spray itself. Rinsing too early or too late, skipping moisturizer, or using the wrong products can affect color depth, longevity, and evenness. When you follow our prep and aftercare guidelines, your tan will look smoother, last longer, and fade evenly.
